New Supervisor Has New Blog

New Linn County Supervisor Brent Oelson has christened a new blog, Marion Contrarion.  He has a post about the Linn County facilities planning survey released this morning.

Also, Gazette County Gov. Reporter Adam Belz live-blogged the meeting, and you can find a replay here. Sounds like residents surveyed want a one-stop shop for county services that offers convenient parking etc. But they don’t care if it’s downtown. Not surprising.

But if the county didn’t ask you, here’s your chance to vote. Sure, it’s a much shorter survey, but I’m not charging  $15,000.

I don’t care if it’s Westdale or a different building. Let’s just keep it at some sort of one-stop, easy parking location. The old way didn’t work well for citizens, so let’s not do it again.
